Travis Dale Morton

Grand Junction~ Travis Dale Morton, 44, a heavy equipment operator, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 24th, 2020 in Jacksboro, Texas.
Celebration of Life will be held 11: 00 a.m. February 8th, 2020 at the Center of Independence at 740 Gunnison Ave. Grand Junction, Colorado. Roger Ferguson will Officiate. There will be a potluck lunch reception with the family following the service.
Travis was born on November 11, 1975 to Garry Morton and Sandra (Kellerby) Detty. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, and camping and would be willing to help with anything for his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garry Morton; grandparents, Dale Morton and Katherine Kellerby; cousin, Jill Parker.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Sandy Detty; his step-father, Steve Detty; his brother, Derek Detty; his stepbrother, Jason Detty and wife Kelli; his sisters, Tracy Morton, and Tamra Smith and husband Mike; his grandfather,Dale Kellerby; grandmother, Alice Morton; his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous extended family members and friends.
He will be missed not only by his loving family but also by all of the friends he made along his journey here on earth.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Travis’s name to Roice-Hurst Humane Society, in Grand Junction, Colorado (970) 434-7337.
