Rhome ~ Troy Chelice Cheek, 77, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Rhome.
Graveside service is 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Pleasant Grove #1Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Rocky Johnson will officiate.
Troy was born on January 15, 1940 to Frank and Lula (Crawford) Cheek. He was united in marriage to Elsie Sinclair on September 14, 1981 in Tarrant County. Troy was retired from American Airlines after over 20 years of service. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elsie Cheek; his son, Jimmy Cheek; his daughter, Karloyn Self; his step-daughter, Janice Lutz; his grandchildren, John Cheek, Joy Cheek, Jessy Wilkerson, and Grace Arbuckle; his sisters, Joyce Slokom, Janet White, and Jerrie Nolan; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
