BRIDGEPORT -- Troy Parnell, 46, a truck driver passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Spring Creek Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday. Rev. Gary Miller will officiate. Pallbearers: Jason Parnell, Jacob Bruggink, Jonathan Smith, Ethan Foley, Tyrel Jenkins, and Colton Jenkins.
Troy was born on November 18, 1961, the son of Mickey Don and Barbara Sue (Little) Parnell in Childress. He married Kim Sossaman on June 24, 1979 in Georgetown. Troy was a member of The Church in Peaster.
Left behind to cherish his memory is: wife Kim Parnell of Bridgeport; daughter, Rachael Walker and husband Jason Ray of North Pole, Alaska; son, William Jason Parnell of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Nicole Walker and Jerad Ray Walker; father, Mickey Parnell and wife Julia of Bridgeport; mother, Barbara Allen of Weatherford; grandmother, Billie Allen of Weatherford; brother, Richard Parnell and wife Joanna of Arlington; nieces and nephews.
