Decatur ~ Veda Lanell Berg, 85, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Bridgeport.
Graveside service is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Jerry Galloway will officiate.
Veda was born on September 26, 1930 to William and Ethel (Hanna) Jones in Alvord, Texas. She was united in marriage to Edward “Eddie” Berg in December 1951 in Decatur. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Edward “Eddie” Berg.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Chuck Berg and wife Gail of Chico and Donnie Jolley and wife Eileen of Lubbock; her daughters, Brenda Brandy and husband Rick of Mansfield and Judy Adkins and husband Mark of Bridgeport; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; her brother, Elvin Jones of New Castle; her sister, Arlene McLellan of Grandbury; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
