PARADISE -- Vernon Kott, Sr., 63, a prayer minister for Kenneth Copeland Ministries for 27 years went to be with our Lord Thursday Dec. 6, 2007 in Decatur.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Kott was born Jan. 22, 1944 in Austin, TX to Vernon and Lela Hollis Herrin. Vernon served in the United States Airforce from 1961 to 1965. He married Kay Smith July 23, 1963 in Fort Worth.
Left behind to cherish his memories are: His wife of 44 years, Kay "GiGi" Kott of Paradise; sons, Vernon Kott, Jr. and fiancee, Tricia Terrell of Paradise, Brandon Kott and wife, Michelle of Paradise and Travis Kott and wife Stephanie of Paradise; daughter, Laurie Kott of Ft. Worth; and grandchildren, Breana, Kaylen, Savannah, Kindal and Carter.
