Chico~ Vinton Lee “Bubba” Lackey, 67, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in Chico.
Bubba was born on September 22, 1955 to Floyd John Lackey, Sr. and Elsie Mae Maddox in Kerrville, Texas. He was a homebuilder for many years and was self-employed. Bubba was united in marriage to Char Ann Kraft on March 21, 1987 in Boyd, Texas. He loved spending time with his family and especially cherished his children and grandchildren. Bubba was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and more who will be missed by all that knew and loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Elsie Lackey.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Char Ann Lackey; his children, Evan Lackey and wife Hannah, Cameron Lackey, Jennifer Lackey Caracheo and husband, Jesus; his grandchildren, Lucas Flores, Liam Caracheo, JohnCameron Lackey, and James Vinton Lackey; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
