Bridgeport ~ Viola G. Reynolds, 98, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Friday, February 10, 2012 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Willow Point Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bro. Scott Strother will officiate. Pallbearers are Joe Neill, Ronald Neill, Jimmy Neill, Mark Neill, Will Cammack, Kevin Rogers, John Rogers, Josh Reynolds, and Charles Reynolds.
Viola was born on February 20, 1913 to James and Louisa (Nichols) Brown in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was united in married to John Edward Reynolds who preceded her in death October 8, 1974. Viola was a member of the Cates Street Church of Christ in Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edd Reynolds; her daughter, Inez "Suey" Neill; her sisters, Vivian Reynolds and Eula Westcott; and her brothers, Luther and Issac Brown.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dean Holley and husband Frank of Gordonville, Texas, Donna Reynolds of Bridgeport, Ladye Irene Cammack and husband Cecil of Cleburne, and Juanita Rogers and husband Johnny of Agnes; her sons, Bossie Reynolds and wife Annie of Fort Worth, Charlie Reynolds and wife Elaine of Azle; 19 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; her sister, Rublee Cummins of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
