Burial: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Violet was born in Earlton, Kansas to the late Marion Francis and Adah Lavina (Smith) Wingate. She married Erwin F. Hugo on July 23, 1971 in Rhome, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, Dean and Vernon Wingate, 1 son, Ricky Harris, and 1 daughter-in-law, Ruby Fox. She is survived by her 4 Sons: Jack W. Harris and wife Afton of Ogdon, Utah, Roy Wayne Harris of Paradise, Elvin Ray Harris of Paradise, Richard Fox of Fort Worth; 2 Daughters: Violet L. Shepard of Fort Worth, Carolyn Diffenderfer and husband John of Paradise; Grandchildren: Christopher Shawn, Douglas Shawn, Shandra Shawn, Tracy Freebie, Michael Trevino, James Chandler, Marsha Harding; numerous Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister: Laura F. Wingate; numerous Nieces, Nephews, and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Rick Polk, Steven Hunt, Bill Jefferys, Leslie Hardin, Allan Wingate, and Bobby Shawn.
