Virginia T. Silver

Bridgeport ~ Virginia T. Silver, 92, a retired bookkeeper, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 4, in Graham.
Graveside service is 11:15 a.m. Thursday at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Sam Caldwell will officiate.
Virginia was born on November 28, 1923 to Roy and Ester (Larson) Ferguson in Aurora, Colorado. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Silver in 1949 in Colorado. Virginia was a children’s Sunday school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Church. Virginia was also a member of the Historical Society and the Bridgeport Museum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Don Silver.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda Saylor and husband Tommy of Graham; her daughter, Elaine Sublett of San Angelo; her grandson, Michael Saylor of Longmont, Colorado; her nephew, Dale Aagesen of Uma, Colorado; other family members and a host of friends.
