Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 22nd in Oaklawn Cemetery with Reverend Ken May officiating.
Vivian was born February 15, 1916 in Montague County to William and Matilda (Weinman) Hachtel. She married Marion H. Montgomery on December 27, 1939 in Decatur.
Left behind to cherish her memory are two sons; M.H. Montgomery of Decatur, Dalton Montgomery and wife, Sharon of Decatur; four grandchildren, Angie Browning and husband, Sean, Chad, Clay, and Allison Montgomery all of Decatur; five great grandchildren, Cade, Morgan, Payton, Hayden, Zayne Montgomery; sister, Clara Doyle of Slidell; numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.
Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Montgomery, step-daughter, Emma Faye Robinson; three brothers, Albert, Marvin, and Melvin Hachtel; and sister, Flora Branch.
