Voncille Forgy

Chico ~ Voncille Forgy, 84, went to be with our Lord November 5, 2020 in Chico.

Graveside Service will be 10 AM Monday, November 9, 2020 Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Cole Travis will officiate.

Voncille was born September 22, 1936 to Frank and Marie (Kay) Ables in Hope, Arkansas. She loved children and worked as a Daycare Worker/Provider. Voncille was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Forgy; son, Randy Forgy; sister, Vivian Vaughn; and brothers, Bobby and Tommy Ables.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Angelique O'Kief and husband Patrick of Chico; son, Clay Forgy of Hurst; 5 grandchildren, Chad Forgy and wife Jeannie, Gretchen Simpson and husband David, Sarah Hood and husband Brandon, Allen O'Kief and wife Kristy, and Jada Forgy; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Travis and husband Bill of Denton; and numerous extended family and a host of friends.
