Paradise ~ Vonda Carol Everhart, 53, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Friday, February 26, 2016 in Decatur.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Paradise United Methodist Church with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Patti Mahaffey of United Methodist Church of Paradise will be officiating. Pallbearers include JD Everhart, Jeremy Dickinson, Tyler Everhart, Rick Chapman, Russell Chapman, and Larry Coker. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Everhart and Ethan Blackwood.
Vonda was born on July 31, 1962 to Bennie and Bobbie (Dunn) Dickinson in Bridgeport, Texas. She was united in marriage to Steven B. Everhart on November 20, 1988 in Paradise. Vonda was a member of the Paradise United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Dean Dickinson; and her brother, David Harold Dickinson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 27 years, Steven Everhart of Paradise; her daughters, Jennifer Bricker and husband Jackie of Poolville and Nikki Everhart of Boyd; her son, Aaron Everhart and wife Cheyenne of Paradise; her grandchildren, Libby, Landry, Jacklyn, Jadyn, Riley Bricker, Phillip and Caileigh Everhart; her father, Bennie Dickinson of Paradise; her brother, Joel Dickinson and wife Kimberly of North Richland Hills; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
