FT. WORTH -- Wallace Sheppard, 77, a retired businessman, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 in Ft. Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Perrin Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Sheppard was born March 8, 1929 in Hale Center to the late Curtis and Bessie Sims Sheppard. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving in WWII, a member of the Methodisit Church and the Veterans Assc. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Jacqueline Sheppard of Worth; daughters, Danea Anderson of Hillsboro, Teresa Johnson and husband Randy of Poplar Bluff, MO and Rebecca Boyd of Ft. Worth; sons, Wallace "Buck" Jr. of Ft. Worth and Brian Sheppard of Denton; grandchildren, Lee, Eric, Christie, B.J., Django, and Tell and great-grandchildren, Michael and Reagan; sisters, Helen Buckner and Cletabell Irwin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
