Decatur: Walter Charles Miller, 79, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, January 7, 2010.
Memorial service is 2 p.m. Monday, January 11th at Crossroad Church with Ty Lovell officiating.
Walter was born August 13, 1930 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Wayne and Clara (Jarvis) Miller. He married Esther Lee Brown on April 5, 1953 in Tennessee. Walter served in the United State Army and was owner of Grand Fork Supply in Grand Forks, North Dakota for over 20 years.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Esther Lee Miller of Decatur; daughter, Melody Richardson and husband, Gary of Decatur; two sons, Carman Miller of Keeter, Bill Miller of Grand Forks, North Dakota; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Walter is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Miller.
