Walter Lee Prewitt

Roaring Springs ~ Walter Lee Prewitt, 71, of Roaring Springs went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Monday at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 3 - 5 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home.

Walter was born June 22, 1950 to Jesse Walter and Geneva E. (Bell) Prewitt in Paducah, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wynona Rice.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Smith of Colorado; granddaughter, Caitlyn Smith; sisters, Leta Morrow, Wanda Gray, and Winnie McElroy; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
