W.C. Trail

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 4, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Tim McGar, Larry Alvey, Jerry McGar, Steve McCrary, Dwayne McCrary, and Terry Hines.

W.C. was born January 29, 1918 in Van Zandt County, Texas to Claude Burton and Betty Elizabeth (Craddock) Trail. He married Clara Bell McGar on November 17, 1937 in Benjamin, Texas.

Left behind to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Patricia Ann Henry of Mount Ida, Arkansas, and Barbara Davis of Houston, Arkansas; 2 sons, Frank Trail and wife Pat of Runaway Bay, and Sammy Trail and wife Judy of Weatherford; 15 grandchildren, Laura Lee, Teresa Cage, Bobby Trail, Rodney Trail, Jesse Trail, Charles Trail, Nina Trail, Loyd Mills, Jimmy Mills, Tammy Noble, Brian Trail, Angie Baker, Sammy Summers, Mark Summers, and Monty Summers; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Pearl Hudson of Aubrey; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

W.C. was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clara Trail; son, Jackie Trail; 5 brothers; 3 sisters; 2 sons-in-law, Owen Lee Henry and Lonnie Onis Davis; and a daughter-in-law, Sandra Trail.
