Willard Ervin Howell

Decatur ~ Willard Ervin Howell, 95, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur will be open 4-9 Thursday, December 17, 2020 for viewing and signing the register book.

Willard was born September 5, 1925 to Wiley Ervin and Ruthie Lee (Champion) Howell in Chico, Texas. He was united in marriage May 5, 1951 to Patsy R. Stevens in Ft.Worth, Texas. Willard graduated from TCU with a Bachelors Degree. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy, during World War II. Willard was a retired Post Master and County Judge. He was a member of the Alvord Masonic Lodge #512.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years, Patsy Howell of Decatur; his sister Leona Davis of Arlington; numerous nieces and nephews; his cousins, Dora Rose and Herma Lee Robertson; and a host of friends.
