Willard Warren Swanson

Decatur ~ Willard Warren Swanson, 99, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Willard was born March 19, 1921 to Olaf and Minnie (Christensen) Swanson in Arco, Minnesota. He was united in marriage September 27, 1953 to Nellie Pricilla D’Agosta in Omaha, Nebraska. Willard proudly served our country in the United States Army as a Paratrooper. He owned and operated a factory building Amusement Park rides.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Brian Swanson of Decatur, and Mark Swanson of Dallas; his daughters, Carol Keeling of O’Fallon, Missouri, Sandy Logomasini of St. Louis, Missouri and Karen Mainini of Ellisville, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; his brother, Howard Swanson of Tyler, Minnesota; his sisters, Marlene Yonker, Leona Mikkelsen and June Goodmund, all from Tyler, Minnesota; extended family and a host of friends.
