William Earl Bench

Decatur - William "Bill" Earl Bench went home to be with our Lord on Friday, February 14, 2014 in Denton, Texas.
Bill was born October 7, 1947 to Eugene and Barbara (Taylor) Bench in California. He was a long time resident of Beatrice, Nebraska before moving to Texas in August of 2013 where he was a resident of The Heritage Place Nursing Home in Decatur. He was a retired OTR truck driver and ran many years for DonCo Carriers out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his 2 daughters, Becky Young of Nebraska and Tammy O'Grady of Missouri; 5 sisters, Melida Miller of Chico, Texas, Tari Petersen of Utah, Linda Tarver of Nebraska, Virginia Bench of Nebraska, and Mary Smith of Nebraska; 2 brothers, Lee Bench of Nebraska and Albert Taylor of California; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Bench.
