William Franklin Goolsby

Boyd ~ William Franklin Goolsby, 87, a retired copy machine repairman and airplane mechanic, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial at Azleland Cemetery in Azle. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
William was born on March 15, 1930 to Charles and Margaret (Scruggs) Goolsby. He was united in marriage to Patricia (Brown) Goolsby on September 3, 1952 in Dallas. William was a member of the Boyd Masonic Lodge #479.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia (Brown) Goolsby; his sister, Pauline Foster; his brothers, Charles, Bob, and Paul Goolsby.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Charles R. Goolsby of Rockville, Maryland; his daughter, Barbara June Goolsby of Boyd; his granddaughter, Lisa Michelle Williams and husband Terry of Weatherford; his great granddaughters; Alexis Nicole Williams and Haylie Madison Williams of Weatherford; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
