William Ellis Hughes

Boyd ~ William "Will" Ellis Hughes, 69, a business owner, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Decatur.

Memorial is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Aurora Baptist Church in Aurora.  Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Will was born December 18, 1948 to William and Erma (Shackelford) Hughes in Fort Worth.  He was united in marriage to Linda Pursley on March 11, 1970 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  Will was a member of Aurora Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher as well as serving on the Board of Directors.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 48 years, Linda Hughes of Boyd; his daughters, Robin Hughes of Boyd, and Nichole Rankin and husband Matt of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Trey Hyman, Johnathan Hyman, Erica Hyman, and David Rankin; his great grandchildren, Abby Kate Hyman, Ellie Grace Hyman, Penny Lou Hyman, Cadence Joy Hyman; his brother, Marshall Hughes and wife Marrietta of Springtown; nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
