Service: 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Trinity Baptist Church of Boyd. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Daryl Hatley will officiate. Pallbearers: Tinker Marsden, James Marsden, Marvin Ezell, Tom Wise, Joshua Sanders, and Keith Ashford.
Billy was born March 27,1965, the son of Ronald Jean and Willie Inez (Hatley) Lyon, in SanRafel, California.
He was preceded in death by his by daughters, Tammy Inez and Tiffany Nichole Lyon, his mother, Willie Inez Hatley, his grandmother, Opal Hatley, and grandfather, William Martin Lyon.
Left behind to cherish his memory are: Son: Casey Lyon of Fort Worth; Daughter: Amanda Nichols of Fort Worth; Granddaughter: Cloey Nichole Kodayashi of Fort Worth; Father: Ronald Lyon and wife Linda of Paradise; Sisters: Cindy Bennett and husband Ray of Weatherford, Shannon Ashford and husband Keith of Fort Worth; Brother: Mark Lyon and wife Lisa of Boyd; Grandfather: Willie Hatley of Boyd; Grandmother: Billie Maxine Simpson of Arlington.
