DECATUR -- William A. "Tony" Neighbors, 60, died Monday, April 16, 2007, in Decatur.
Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Oaklawn Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home. Officiating: Rev. Stanley Geisler. Pallbearers: Richard Brown, Sonny Gasperson, Heath Krogstead, Scott Williams, Jarrett Blessing, Roy Eaton, Willis Puffer, Russell Reynolds, and Doyle Green.
Memorials: Jonnathan Neighbors Scholarship Fund, with Legend Bank, at any location.
Tony was born in Decatur, Texas. He married Carolyn Joy Remmele on September 7, 1969 in Decatur. Tony was the owner of Neighbors Oil Company for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Bennye Neighbors, his son, Jonnathan Neighbors, and his sister, Terry Grace Krogstead.
Survivors: Wife, Carolyn Neighbors of Decatur; daughter, Cynnara Bivin and husband Jay of Keller; and two granddaughters, Remelee and Jayden Bivin.
