Runaway Bay ~ Lt. Col. William Ray (Bill) White, Retired, 90, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday December 4th, 2019 in Runaway Bay.
Memorial Service is 1 p.m. Sunday December 8th, 2019 at The Bay Community Church in Runaway Bay with burial in DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
William was born on March 18, 1929 to Joe and Irene (Cox) White in Vernon, Texas. He was united in marriage to Bobbie Lynch on July 17th, 1992 in Maui Hawaii. William proudly served our country in the United States Air Force as a highly decorated pilot for more than 20 years, after retiring from the Air Force he continued his aviation career as a Corporate pilot. William was a life member of the VFW, Quiet Birdmen, 32nd Degree Mason, Wise County Veteran’s Group, he was a member of the Bay Community Church in Runaway Bay where he served as Elder.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Mary Muir, a brother Joe Morris White, two children Michael Andrew White and Timothy Wayne White.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bobbie White of Runaway Bay; his daughter, Diane DiGiuseppe and husband Nick of Dallas; his sons, William R. White Jr. of Vernon, Joey Kimbrough of Austin, Wallace Kimbrough and wife Sharon of Denton, and Kelly Kimbrough of Runaway Bay; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 dogs Duke and Sparky.
Military Honors provided by Wise Counter Veterans Group.
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, and ASPCA of Texas.
