William "Mack" Huitt

Decatur ~ William “Mack” Huitt, 83, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 13, 2020.

Mack was born October 24, 1937 to Earl Martin and Hilma Louise (Sloane) Huitt in Bay City, Texas. He was united in marriage March 30, 1996 to Susan A. Greenlee in Irving, Texas. Mack was a retired concrete contractor, and member of First Baptist Church in Decatur. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sharon Ammons Huitt; his brothers, Fred and E.M. Huitt; his son-in-law, Jim Morris; his step-daughter, Lisa Sudberry; and his sister-in-law, Shirley Greenlee.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Sue Huitt of Decatur’ his 4 daughters, Tracy Kunzman and husband Mark, Kris Lay and husband Keith, Kim Morris, and Kelly Wilkerson and husband Darrell; his step-daughter, Lori Sherwood; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his brother, Larry Huitt; nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
