Wilma Gene "Willie" (Crabtree) Decker

Decatur ~ Wilma Gene “Willie” Decker went to be with our Lord Monday, August 31, 2020.

Celebration of Life is Saturday evening, September 12, 2020 at the Decker Home, 2604 South Lipsey St in Decatur.

Willie was born August 6, 1932 to Edmond Jesse and Arvilla (Vaughn) Crabtree in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage November 29, 1956 to James Anthony “Skeeter” Decker in Corpus Christi, Texas for 53 years before his death in 2009. Willie was employed at the Denton State School as a building coordinator for over 33 years and retired later from James Wood Motors.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Anthony “Skeeter” Decker; her sons, Doyle Len, Joe Edward, and James Allen Decker.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Decker of Decatur; her daughter-in-law, Sheri Decker of Hunterville, North Carolina; her bestie of 34 years, Chris Beard of Decatur; her grandchildren, Amber Warner Kirbie and husband Mark of Paradise, Curtis Warner and wife Jamie of Buena Vista, Colorado, Jacob Warner and wife Haley of Decatur, Fred Jones and wife Dana of Runaway Bay, Jessica Decker Evans and husband Chad of Comanche, Benjamin Decker of North Carolina, and Michael Smith and wife Tara of Springtown; her great-grandchildren, Mariah and Maci Kirbie, Jakob Alton and Addelynn Warner, Weston and Avery Evans, Brody, Brac and Bowen Jones, Hayden and Dawson Smith, and baby girl Warner arriving in November of 2020; numerous extended family, a host of friends whom she called family.
