Winna Pearl Tinney

Poolville ~ Winna Pearl Tinney, 72, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Weatherford.

Graveside is 2 PM Wednesday at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Winna was born on May 19, 1949 to Walter Floyd and Rhoda Pearl (Mims) Stevens in Weatherford. She was united in marriage to William A. Tinney on August 5, 1992 in Decatur. Winna was a member of Gibtown Baptist Church and Galiceno Horse Breeders Association for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great- grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Winna Dawn Tinney; her granddaughter, Candice Rae Smith; and her sister, Floy Jean Talley

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Bill Tinney of Poolville; her son, William Don Tinney and wife Tricia of Springtown; her daughter, April Michelle Simmons of Springtown; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sue Stephenson and Neva Ford; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
