Decatur ~ Winton Edward McDonough, 87, went to be with our Lord Friday, October 15, 2021 in Decatur.

Celebration of Life is 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at First Baptist Church inSlidell. 119 CR 2822 Slidell TX.

Winton was born December 10, 1933 to Carlos Winton and Rebecca Elizabeth (Gordley) McDonough in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was Lutheran and after graduation he chose a career in Aviation Insurance for over 25 years.  Winton was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Patrick Willard McDonough; and his son-in-law, Fred Belote.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years, Lola Mae McDonough of Slidell; his children, Michael McDonough and wife Marciela of Waco, Steven McDonough and wife Pam of Irving, and Susan Belote; 7 grandchildren, Mindie, Cassie, Sarah, Michelle, Elizabeth, Sean, and Patrick; 8 great-grandchildren, Nolan, Mazie, Sadie, Kellen, Kolby, Victoria, Weston, and Jackson.
