Wyatt Samuel Dickerson

Alvord ~ Wyatt Samuel Dickerson, 16, a sophomore at Alvord High School, went to be with his Lord Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Alvord with Bro. Bill Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow the service at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Wyatt was born August 29, 2004 to Kyle and Julie (Stewart) Dickerson. He was an athlete! From playing soccer and t-ball as a young child to playing basketball and running track as a teenager, he excelled at whatever he put his mind to. He was an amazing son, brother, grandson, and friend.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Kyle and Julie Dickerson of Alvord; his sister, Macie Dickerson of Alvord; grandmother, Arlene Dickerson of Alvord; grandparents, Jeff and Phyllis Hone of Tyler, and Doug and Sharon Stewart of North Richland Hills; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Doyle Dickerson.
