Wyolon Reese, 96, of Aurora, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, at Aurora Baptist Church with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Reverend Jimmy Withers will officiate. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Kevin Howard, Chris Howard, Brad Adcock, Andy Anderson, Gary Anderson, Andrew Anderson, and Ben Arbour.
Wyolon was born December 29, 1913 in Russillville, Alabama to Filemor and Eastor Orsborn Mayfield. She married Waymon Reese on April 12, 1930 in Marietta, Oklahoma. She was a member of Aurora First Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory is a daughter, Alice Anderson and husband Bob of Fort Worth; 2 grandsons, Gary Anderson and wife Donna of Fort Worth, and Andy Anderson and wife Elizabeth of Eldorado; 3 great-grandchildren, Mindy, Meg, and Andrew; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Wesley, Abbey, and Micah; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Waymon Reese; a son, Joe Reese; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
