Yvonne Joette Davis, 81, formerly of Decatur went to be with her Lord Saturday, December 22, in Granbury.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Monday, December 24th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken May officiating. Burial will be private at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12-1 p.m. prior to the service at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Terry Skodack, Jim Archer, Ken Archer, Stephen Skodack, Kevin Skodack, and Melvin Woody.
Joette was born July 6, 1931, in Abbott, Texas to Joe Leslie and Opal (Hixson) Eagan. She married Roland Davis on January 8, 1949 in Big Spring, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Roland Davis of Granbury; 2 daughters, DeeAnn Archer and husband Jim of Decatur, and Nancy Skodack and husband Terry of Bartonville; 6 grandchildren, Ken Archer, Kyle Archer, Katy Liddle, Stephen Skodack, Kevin Skodack, and Sarah Skodack; 3 great-grandchildren, Dylan Kendall Archer, Allyson Liddle, and Liberty Skodack; numerous cousins, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
