BRIDGEPORT -- Yvonne Hill Saling, 66, a homemaker, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Officiating: Rev. Bill Hughes. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation: Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.

Honorary Pallbearers: Rusty Perrin, Jeff Perrin, Tommy Thompson, Mike Plunk, Steven Hunt. Mrs. Saling was born Dec. 16, 1940 in Decatur, TX to Dee and Burnie Robeson Hill. She married Lynn Saling May 8, 1959 in Ardmore, OK. Mrs. Saling was a volunteer for the Bridgeport Senior Citizens and Bridgeport Youth Association and a member of Balsora Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ola Mae Schultz; and brothers, Bill and Doyle Hill. Survivors: Husband of 48 years, Lynn Saling of Bridgepor; sons, David Saling and wife, Kim of Decatur and Larry Saling and wife, Laura of Owasso, OK; daughters, Rhonda Flores of Mesquite, Lisa Garvin and husband, Cliff of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Brandi, Brittni, Brooke, Cassie, Crystal, Lane, Landon, Alesha and RJ; sister, Colleen Plunk of Rockwall; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
