Zachary Blake Gober

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport. Burial: Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jacksboro. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Reverend Gary Dimmitt to officiate. Pallbearers: Dooby Fox, Luke Armstrong, Daniel Scott, Alex Frye, John Gary, Jordan Daniels, Trevor Boales and Wade Gary.

Zach was born March 28, 1992 to Gary and Linny (Armstrong) Gober in Mineral Wells. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2010 and was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Linny Read and husband Marvin of Bridgeport; father, Gary Gober and wife Christy of Springtown; 3 sisters, Bree Gober, Amye Read, and Kayla Van Brunt; 3 brothers, Ty Read, Brayden Pewitt and Bryson Vidal; grandparents, Larry and Cherry Armstrong of Jacksboro, Susan Houser of Jacksboro, Lary and Cynthia Gober of Bridgeport, Roy and Gay Boswell of Bridgeport, Oz and Dana Read of Bridgeport; great grandmother, Shorty Armstrong; uncles, Dooby Fox and Luke Armstrong; aunts, JoAnn Fox and Tonya Armstrong; nephew, Cayden Van Brunt; other relatives and a host of friends.

I was Zack's art teacher at Bridgeport until I moved, with my family, in 2008. He was a bright, creative, kind, and generous young man and definitely a pleasure to know. I have been reading all the posts from friends new and old on his face book page and they all say the same thing. This is such a tragic loss and I am truly sorry this happened. You all are in my prayers.
