Mississippi – Jeffrey Vincent Bailey, 55 passed away Thursday December 28, 2023, in Hamilton Mississippi.

Funeral is 2:00 PM Saturday January 6, 2024 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bro. Fred Raney will be officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Hall, Kyle Walker, Bradley Hall, Anthony Minor, Tim O’Brien and Herbie Hall.

Jeff was born in Dallas, Texas, September 9th,1968 to Robert Bailey Jr.  and   Sharon (Willingham) Bailey.  He attended Red Oak High School and worked in the oilfield as an oil rig tech. Though Jeff was raised in Texas he went to Mississippi to go hunting and fishing and loved it so much he never came back to Texas. Even though he was in Mississippi he told his family to make sure he would someday be returned to Texas and buried at the Aurora Cemetery with family and be laid to rest between his brother and sister. Jeff was a beloved father, son, grandfather, brother and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are son, Allen Jeffrey Bailey and partner Shelby of Tennessee; his daughter Alana Lorene Bailey and partner Anthony of Mississippi; 5 grandchildren; his parents, Sharon and Robert Bailey Jr.  of Red Oak; his sister Tiara Bailey Hall and husband Herbie of Aurora; brother Robert Bailey III and wife Ellen of Fort Worth; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
