Pauline "Polly" (Thompson) Elliott

Alvord ~ Pauline “Polly” Thompson Ellitott, 88, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in Decatur.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday February 28, 2020 at Alvord Church of Christ with burial in New Harp Cemetery in Montague county. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

Polly was born October 27, 1931 to John and Jessie (Everett) Thompson in Throckmorton County, Texas. She was united in marriage December 24, 1948 to Wendell Elliott in Mineral Wells. Polly graduated from Woodson High School and was a member of Alvord Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wendell Elliott; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are 3 daughters, Cheryl Clark and husband Joe of Chico, Donna Nivens and husband Mike of Alvord, and Kim French and husband Charles of Alvord; 6 grandchildren, Clint Nivens and wife Melissa of Alvord, Catherine Kelly of Decatur, Jessica Lynch and husband William of Sunset, Amanda Vargas and husband Jay of Spring, Shelly Rangel and husband Cason of Alvord, and Amy Hiler and husband Scott of Bridgeport; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
