Roy Roosevelt Stone

Azle ~ Roy Roosevelt Stone, 87, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Azle.

Graveside service is 3 PM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Ash Creek Cemetery.

Rev. Wesley Shotwell will officiate. Pallbearers are Brandon Reese, Kenny Mooney, Kevin Mooney, Tim Hall, Les Keeble, and Doug Burt.

Roy was born on August 9, 1933 and adopted by JB and Lois Hefner in Fort Worth. He was united in marriage to Delta McAllister on July 25, 1952 in Reno. Roy was member and a deacon at Ash Creek Baptist. He worked at Texas Electric for 41 years before retirement. Roy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Russell Stone.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years, Dell Stone of Azle; his daughter, Renata Stone McGuire of North Richland Hill; 2 grandchildren, Kimberly and Kelsey Stone; his great-grandchild; other relatives and a host of friends.
