Tammy Lynn (Renfrow) Mcgar

Decatur ~ Tammy Lynn (Renfrow) McGar, 61, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Graveside Service is 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Brandon Blassinggame will officiate.

Tammy was born October 21, 1960 to Dennis LaVonne and Sarah Ethel Renfrow in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage June 6, 1980 to Timothy Wayne McGar in Decatur, Texas. Tammy graduated Decatur High School and was an aide in the education industry for many years. She was a loving devoted wife to her husband Tim till his passing in August of 2021. Tammy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law; sister-in-law, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Sarah Renfrow; her husband Timothy McGar; and a granddaughter, Hazel McGar.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lindsey McGar of Decatur, and Candace White and husband Tony of Decatur; her son, Clayton McGar and wife Tori of Sunset; 4 grandchildren, Jameson, Brooklynn, Stetson, and Loretta; her brother, Patrick “Bubba” Eady of Sulpher Springs; her in-laws, Wayne and Mary McGar; brothers-in-laws, Mike McGar and wife Khristie, and Jerry McGar and wife Lorrin; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
